MTBC: talkEHR Acquires Meaningful Use Stage 3 Certification

MTBC which is a renowned provider of cloud-based electronic health record, proprietary, practice management and mHealth solutions has today declared that its voice-enabled electronic health record platform, talkEHR™, has acquired the 2015 Edition ONC Health IT certification as a Health IT Module.

A diverse health IT system is being supported by the 2015 Edition Certification Program, involving but not restricted to EHR technology, and crosses the care continuum to engage broader range of care settings. Health information technology (HIT) certification criteria in the ONC Health IT 2015 Edition Certification Program increase privacy and security capabilities, make better the patient safety and interoperability and improve upon the reliability and transparency of certified Health IT. Health information technology certified to the 2015 Edition certification criteria and associated standards and implementation specifications can be executed by an eligible provider (EP), eligible hospital, or Critical Access Hospital and might be utilized to demonstrate meaningful use or participate in other EHR Incentive Programs. On Feb 3, 2017, talkEHR was certified by ICSA Labs, an Office of the National Coordinator-Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) and is compliant in accordance with applicable criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).

ONC Health IT 2014 and 2015 Edition Certification is awarded to those technologies that have the ability of meeting the more rigorous testing criteria established to support hospitals and providers who desire to deliver higher quality patient care and exchange clinical data safely.
The certification number of talkEHR is 170002R00. ONC Health information technology certification conferred by ICSA Labs doesn’t depict an endorsement of the certified Health IT technology by the United States Department of Health and Human Services.
