Connecticut's Hartford HealthCare and GoHealth Urgent Care will partner to extend urgent care network of GoHealth Urgent Care to Central and Eastern Connecticut. 15 centers has been planned to open by the two providers beginning in the time period of spring 2017 during the first 18-month phase of their partnership. Each Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth Urgent Care center will be open to treat sufferers 7 days a week with extended evening hours, walk-in availability, and online check-in so that sufferers can save a place "in line." GoHealth said in a statement, "The partnership will give patients higher access to innovative high-quality care, where and when they require it most.”
GoHealth said, “Electrostatic "smart glass" procedure rooms, transparent charting on a wide screen in each exam room, mobile X-ray equipment and a unified electronic medical record will be featured by the centers that can be accessed by caregivers across the Hartford HealthCare network.” Almost sixty urgent care centers is being operated by GoHealth Urgent Care in the New York and Portland, OR, and San Francisco Bay areas. GoHealth Urgent Care's current partners involve Legacy Health, Northwell Health, Dignity Health, one of the nation's greatest health care systems, headquartered in San Francisco, and now Hartford HealthCare. Hartford HealthCare involves a tertiary-care teaching hospital, 2 community hospitals, an acute-care hospital and trauma center, an acute-care community teaching hospital, a primary care physician practice group, behavioral health services, as well as cancer centers, regional and senior home care and physical therapy rehabilitation.
