ONC issues the newly updated SAFER guides, outline recommendations for EHR configuration

SAFER guides has been updated by the Office of the National Coordinator of Health IT, first released in the year of 2014, outlining suggestions for optimal use of electronic health records (EHRs) to ensure patient safety.
