PhysicianOne Urgent Care, Yale New Haven Health joins to expand the services of urgent careĀ2/24/2017 In accordance to the announcement of Physician One, PhysicianOne Urgent Care and Yale New Haven Health of Connecticut are joining to bring comprehensive services of urgent care to Connecticut and Westchester County, New York. In the year of 2008, PhysicianOne Urgent Care was founded by three physicians and contains 12 locations in the region of Connecticut, 3 in Massachusetts, and 2 in Westchester County, New York. In the year of 2017, additional locations are expected to open.
Yale New Haven Health involves 5 hospitals and Northeast Medical Group, which includes primary care physicians and specialists. Yale New Haven Health leadership said that broader access will be permitted by this new relationship for our patients to critical healthcare services in the community. Yale New Haven Health involves 5 hospitals: Bridgeport, Greenwich, Lawrence + Memorial, Westerly and Yale New Haven hospitals, several specialty networks and Northeast Medical Group, a non-profit medical foundation with several hundred community-based and hospital-employed physicians. The walk-in medical care is being offered by PhysicianOne for non-life-threatening illnesses and wounds / injuries year-round, involving X-ray and lab services available on-site.
