The famous UCC (Urgent Care Clinic) at the Alvin C. York V.A. Medical Center has shifted temporarily to a building 117, room 114, so that the work of renovation can be conveniently done. Check-in of Patient is now in the main ground-level lobby of Building 3. The Tennessee Valley Healthcare System shifted the Urgent Care Clinic on the day of May 24th to allow for renovation of the space. Officials told that the construction is hoped to last almost 1 year.
Hunt Blair, spokesperson, points out, "The temporary relocation of the Urgent Care Clinic won’t affect the level of care or quality for our Veterans, nor will it result in the closure of any services presently offered at the Alvin C. York campus. The UCC will sustain to operate 24/7 to ensure Veterans are given uninterrupted care."
